English Description
General Description:
The ARB Soft Connect Shackle is designed to enhance safety in vehicle recovery by acting as a fuse that typically breaks before any rated metal components, thereby preventing flying metal projectiles and ensuring a safer recovery for all involved. It offers flexibility for connecting a recovery strap to most rated recovery points. The shackle is constructed from UHMWPE (Ultra High Molecule Weight Polyethylene) high tensile, CE certified, synthetic rope. It is engineered to float in water, resist short-term UV radiation, and provide superior strength. The UHMWPE synthetic rope is protected by a high tensile, braided shield that improves abrasion resistance against cuts and wear during use. For convenient storage and protection, the shackle includes a drawstring carry bag with a mesh and nylon case, allowing for sufficient drying and easy integration into an existing recovery kit. When used correctly, it offers a safer alternative to traditional steel shackles.
