Installation involves sitting the winch in position on the winch cradle and attaching it to the bar through the top two holes using two short bolts and any washers supplied with the winch. All cables should be attached as per the winch manufacturer's instructions. For some Bushranger winches, the gearbox may need to be rotated 90 degrees anti-clockwise; remove the screws in the gearbox end of the winch, carefully slide the gearbox away, rotate it, and then replace the screws.
