General Description: The ARB Intensity Solis 21 Flood Driving Light (SJB21F) is a high-performance LED driving light engineered for superior illumination and durability. It produces a crisp light with a refined color temperature, designed to reduce eye strain and driver fatigue. The light features a digitally controlled touchpad and comes with interchangeable red and black die-cast side bezels for customization. It is equipped with 21 OSRAM LEDs, comprised of six 5-watt and fifteen 4-watt LEDs. A 5-stage dimmability function allows for adjustable brightness, enabling drivers to reduce glare in reflective environments or utilize full power for maximum visibility. The light incorporates a highly tuned single-piece reflector to optimize light distribution. Its squat shape is designed for stable mounting, helping to lower the center of gravity and reduce oscillation, while being mounted in an all-black, vertical-pivoting adjustable, cast aluminum cradle. Built to withstand harsh conditions, it boasts an IP68 waterproof rating, meaning it is submersible up to 3 meters. The robust construction includes a high-pressure die-cast aluminum body and mount, along with a virtually indestructible clear-coated polycarbonate internal lens, ensuring superior thermal management and longevity. This flood beam pattern is ideal for illuminating the foreground and roadside, and it can be paired with a spot light for a comprehensive beam setup. For full functionality, including the 5-stage dimmability feature, the ARB Solis Wiring Loom is required. Ingress Protection: IP68 (submersible up to 3 meters) Installation Guide: The ARB Solis Wiring Loom is required for the 5-stage dimmability function and full product operation. It is recommended that this product be installed by trained personnel. Ensure all electrical connections are correct and tight, with a good earth connection to the engine and/or chassis. Failure to do so may result in component failure or fire. Make sure all wires are securely fastened away from any hot, sharp, or moving surfaces. Do not fasten any wires to the brake lines or fuel lines. Ensure all electrical connections are strong and well insulated. Fuses should be mounted upright with the terminals facing down, located where they are protected from submersion or splashing from water and mud. Installation Steps (General for ARB driving lights loom): Layout the main harness in the engine bay and mount the four fuses in a convenient location. Feed the touchpad connector on the main harness through an existing grommet in the firewall and into the vehicle cabin. Connect the Plug & Play harness to the vehicle headlamp. Connect the vehicle harness connector. Connect the Plug and Play connector to the main harness. Connect the illumination signal wire with the front clearance light wire (parkers). Alternatively, this could connect with the illumination circuit within the cabin. Connect the chassis grounds to a suitable ground point on the vehicle body or chassis. Do not connect directly to the battery negative. Connect the driving light connectors to the Solis driving lights. Secure all cables and check all connections. Connect the two positive terminals to the battery positive terminal and reconnect the negative cable to the battery. Check the correct operation of the touchpad and Solis driving lights. Important Notes for Installation: For negatively switched headlamp vehicles, an additional relay is required to operate the driving lights. For CANBUS controlled headlamp vehicles, the high beam and clearance light signals may not be available without additional hardware. Contact your vehicle supplier or ARB for advice.
