It is designed for easy drop-in installation into your factory air box. Follow these general steps for installation: 1. Un-fasten air box clamps. 2. Remove the air box lid from the vehicle or slide the tray out from the air box. 3. Remove the stock air filter. 4. Wipe out any dirt or dust that may be inside the air filter housing. 5. Install the K&N air filter into the air box base or tray. Ensure the contour of the air filter clears any ribs inside the air box. If applicable, place the filter in the tray with arrows facing towards the air box. 6. Press around the edges of the air filter to ensure it is properly sealed. 7. Re-install the air box lid and re-fasten the air box clamps. Important Note: Failure to follow these installation instructions and use the provided hardware may impair the performance of your filter and damage your engine. These instructions must be followed every time the filter is serviced; otherwise, the filter may not seal, and damage to the engine could result.
