Both alligator clamps are blue, and there is no positive or negative connection distinction as the compressor features electronic polarity correction to protect the motors from damage due to incorrect polarity. It is recommended to leave the vehicle running to get maximum performance and to avoid depleting the vehicle's battery. The compressor will not start until the switch rocker is pressed. It is important to ensure the compressor is in a position that allows free flow of dry, cool air to the air filter assembly and provides ventilation space around the cooling fan (minimum 5 cm between fan screen and any surface). The compressor includes a 6.1 meter air hose and tire inflation chuck. It is not an onboard compressor and does not hard-wire to the vehicle.
