The general procedure involves laying out the main harness in the engine bay, securely mounting the four fuses in a location protected from water and mud, and feeding the touchpad connector through an existing grommet in the firewall into the vehicle cabin. Connect the touchpad switch harness, the high beam connector to the vehicle headlamp, the illumination signal wire to the front clearance light wire (parkers) or an internal illumination circuit, and the chassis grounds to a suitable point on the vehicle body or chassis (not directly to the battery negative). Finally, connect the driving light connectors to the Solis driving lights. For vehicles with negatively switched headlamps, an additional relay is required. For CANBUS controlled headlamp vehicles, contact your vehicle supplier or ARB for advice on high beam and clearance light signal connection. Ensure all electrical connections are correct, tight, and have good earth connections. Secure all wires away from hot, sharp, or moving surfaces; do not fasten them to brake or fuel lines. Before starting, disconnect the negative battery cable. The product must be installed exactly as per instructions, ideally by trained personnel. To mount the light, place the mount onto the bull bar or flat mounting surface, aligning with existing holes or drilling new ones (apply rust prevention to new holes). Secure the mount using three M8x30 socket head cap screws, M8 washers, M8 large washers, and M8 nyloc nuts. Tighten M8 bolts to 12 Nm and M5 bolts to 6 Nm. Place the light body with the lens facing down, insert two M8 square nuts into the rear cavity, and insert nut covers. Place the light body into the mount, align the holes, and insert four M8 washers, M8 spring washers, and M8x30 Torx drive button head screws, loosely tightening them for later adjustment. For adjustment, point the vehicle towards a flat wall and switch on the driving lights. For horizontal adjustment, remove the light body, loosen the three mount bolts, refit the light body, adjust horizontally, and then tighten the center mount bolt. Remove the light body again, tighten all three mount bolts, and reinstall the light body, keeping screws loose for vertical adjustment. For vertical adjustment, measure the light output height on the wall and compare it with the driving light height on the vehicle. For care and maintenance, clean the light with warm soapy water and a sponge or soft brush (avoid solvents or harsh chemicals). Periodically remove the clear cover to clean the light lens. Regularly check all mounting and adjusting bolts to ensure they are secured and tight. Do not disassemble the light; for service or repair, return it to an ARB distributor.
